Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is the daughter of an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four of them were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They were originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands to Hill House. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. At the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to focus her full-time acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her dreams came true after she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
