Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to in the music world, is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st day of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, together with his fellow classmates, created a band group dubbed White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. Although he has an interest in music he also wanted to be the next lawyer or an physiotherapist. He was employed at a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. This meant that the group he was in had to be split. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to win the contest. They were in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and took home the prize. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal for One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
