Kari Samantha (born April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actress and performer. Her career started when she was a teenager. Her most famous roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). She has three sisters and brothers. In her teens she was a nightclub performer in the dark, escaping from home. When she began studying acting at Wooster School, at 13 years old, she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April her birthplace, she was raised there. Her father is an German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari is the youngest of three kids. The singer was in nightclubs when she was an teen, sneaking away from the house to sing. Kari, who was then thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher known as Uta. Kari began acting when she was aged a teenager. Her first television break was in 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
