
Pichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai earned his master's degree in metallurgical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. After moving to America and completing an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. After a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. In Google, he was in charge of the development of Google Drive, and for product management and innovation. He also oversaw the creation of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai announced in 2010 that Google had made the video codec VP8 open-source and had also launched WebM which is a brand new video format. In 2012, the Chromebook was introduced. In 2013 Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he was responsible for.
